Fallmark

00 / INIT — a climbing game

Fallmark

One machine tower. 117.8 metres. No checkpoints. Every fall is yours, and the tower remembers it.

01 / THE CHALLENGE

Hold. Aim. Let go.

Hold to charge a leap, release to take it, and aim as you let go. That is the whole of the controls, and it is enough to keep you here for hours. The physics are exact: the same press does the same thing every time, on every screen, at every frame rate.

02 / THE FIRST ATTEMPT

Every ledge teaches one thing.

Distance. A narrow landing. A wall that returns half your speed. A beam that punishes a leap that is too strong. Grease that keeps whatever speed you bring. Then the tower stops teaching and starts asking.

03 / THE FALL

−23.8 M

One careless step. No checkpoint catches you. The music drops away while you fall, and the tower marks the wall where it happened. Come back tomorrow and the scar is still there.

04 / THE RAGE

It was your fault. You know exactly why.

Hard is not the same as unfair. Nothing here is random, nothing hides, and every leap on the way up has been proved possible by a machine that measured how much room you have. When you fall, the game tells you by how much: MISSED BY 0.07 M.

05 / THE RETRY

Again.

No loading screen. No menu. You land, and you are already climbing. The only way back up is better leaps, and nobody can sell you a shortcut: there are no paid skips, no paid checkpoints and no loot boxes. Ever.

06 / THE BREAKTHROUGH

The Crown.

Somewhere above the Piston Hall, past the Knife Edges and the last false floor, is a gold ledge you can see from the very bottom. Reach it and the run is yours: the time, the falls, the metres you lost getting there.

07 / THE CLIP

The game keeps the moments worth keeping.

Catastrophes, near misses, edge saves, comebacks, the summit. The game spots them as they happen and keeps them in your reel. One tap makes a vertical or widescreen video with the telemetry that makes it make sense to a stranger. It is made on your device and stays there until you share it.

08 / TWO ON A ROPE

Climb it together.

Two climbers, one rope. Share one screen, or send a friend a link and climb together from wherever you both are, each on your own device. When your partner slips, lean away and the rope holds them; keep walking and you haul them back up. Stand still and their weight drags you over the edge with them. The Crown only counts when you both stand on it.

09 / CHALLENGE YOUR FRIENDS

Race their ghost.

Every run on the board is replayed by our server, tick by tick, before it counts. Send someone a run and they climb beside its ghost.
